One of the most popular symbols of Halloween is the jack-o’-lantern, a pumpkin with a face carved into it and illuminated by a light placed inside. Similarly, Mickey Mouse is such a well-known animated character that even his smiling face has become one of the most instantly recognizable symbols of the entire Walt Disney Company. Therefore, it would seem like a natural combination to see the mouse’s face on pumpkins as part of Magic Kingdom’s Halloween decorations.
Decorating the lampposts along Main Street USA and the Hub is a collection of fall bunting anchored by Mickey Mouse-inspired jack-o’-lanterns at their center. Just like any good jack-o’-lantern, they even light up after the sun goes down. More fun than spooky, Magic Kingdom’s Mickey Mouse pumpkins are the perfect decorations for the park’s “No-So-Scary” take in the holiday.
